SF-224 Statement of Transactions 
The SF-224, Statement of Transactions, is a monthly report required by Treasury. It has a format specified by Treasury. It is prepared by agencies for whom the Treasury Financial Management Service (FMS) makes payments at any of its regional financial centers. The report shows disbursements, collections, and receipts, organized in three sections.
Before using the SF-224 feature in the SAP Federal Government solution, you need to carry out customizing as follows:

1. In the Implementation Guide (IMG), choose Public Sector Management ® Functions for US Federal Government ® Reporting ® SF-224 ® Maintain Treasury Subclasses.
The Change View: “Treasury Subclasses”: Overview screen appears.
2. Choose New Entries and enter the subclasses you require. These are prescribed by Treasury.
3. Save your entries and return to the reporting IMG.
4. Choose Assign FI Document Type, Account, and Fund to Treasury Subclass Code.
5. In the resulting overview, choose New Entries and enter the groupings of subclass codes, accounts, document types, and funds as appropriate. The codes must be selected from the ones you maintained in the previous step.
6. Save your entries.
You can now run the SF-224 statement.

1. To run the statement, go to the Functions for US Federal Government part of the Easy Access menu and choose Information System ® SF-224 Statement of Transactions.
2. Make the appropriate selections:
¡ Selection
Here, you can limit the selection to specific organizational and time dimensions and also manage electronic output. The Company Code and Last Posting Date of Period or Fiscal Year and Period are required fields. Remember that you must create an electronic file for transmission to Treasury, so you need to check the appropriate box.
¡ Configuration
This is used to define sets of accounts that represent 224 balance types. It also allows you to choose whether the Appropriation Symbol reflects the Application of Funds name or Application of Funds code.
The program creates the electronic file and hard copy as specified.
