Off-Cycle Activities for Concurrent Employment 

Purpose

You use this component to perform off-cycle activities in a system in which concurrent employment is active.

Implementation Considerations

To be able to use the component Off-Cycle Activities for Concurrent Employment, you must work through the section Off-Cycle Activities in Customizing for Payroll. The Customizing settings are not different from the settings you make when using the off-cycle activities without concurrent employment.

Integration

You use Off-Cycle Activities for Concurrent Employment in Payroll for Concurrent Employment (see for example Payroll Other Countries for Concurrent Employment).

Features

A system in which concurrent employment is active offers the same features for off-cycle activities as a system without concurrent employment. For more information about off-cycle activities in a system without concurrent employment, see Off-Cycle Activities.

The system uses the concurrent employment-enabled version of a program, if one exists, for off-cycle activities with concurrent employment.

For example, for off-cycle payroll runs, the system uses the payroll program for concurrent employment (RPCALCx0_CE), and for off-cycle subsequent processing it uses the preliminary data medium exchange program for concurrent employment (RPCDTCx0_CE).
