Cash Flow Statement
You use this report to prepare a cash flow statement as required in Russia. It allows you to drill down to documents and correspondence accounts.
To access the report, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
You have:
Made the Customizing settings described in Customizing for Cash Flow Statements
Determined the offsetting accounts of the documents that are to be covered by the cash flow statement (see Offsetting Account Determination)
The report can automatically determine them for you, but this is time-consuming.
In the Selection Criteria group box, you specify which company code you want to prepare the cash flow statement for, and enter any other criteria as to which accounting documents you want.
In the Other Settings group box, you can instruct the system to determine the correspondence accounts of any documents for which you have not yet done so, and to save this information to the database, if required.
In the Header and Footer Texts group box, enter the standard texts that you want to appear as the header and footer, and fill out the other fields with your company's data.
Cash flows in foreign currency must be shown in the cash flow statement, translated into rubles at the exchange rate published by the Bank of Russia on the date of the cash flow statement. In the Other Settings group box:
Enter the exchange rate type you use for the Bank of Russia’s rates.
In the Key Date for Translation field, enter the date of the cash flow statement.
In the For Previous Year field, enter the date of the previous year’s cash flow statement.
In addition, the beginning balance must be shown at the exchange rate at the reporting date. Exchange rate differences between the rate on the reporting date and at the beginning of the year are shown in the last line of the statement.
In addition, you file a separate statement for each currency that you have cash flows in. To do so, run the report separately for each currency. Enter the currency in the Document Currency field in the Selection Criteria group box, and, in the Show Statement In group box, select Foreign Currency.
The report displays the cash flow statement in the official form, and you can print it out from the screen.
