Interfaces and Data Transfer in The Commission System 

Purpose

The interfaces in the commission system enable you to transfer data from one or more operational systems to the commission system. It also enables you to transfer data between SAP Incentive and Commission Management and other SAP components.

Data Transfer Between Different Systems

You can use external data transfer (EDT) or direct input (DI, thus no dialog) to transfer the data in a file to the commission system.  It is also possible to transfer data using a dialog if required.

Master Data

You can transfer master data using EDT or a function module. This applies to the following:

·         Commission contract

·         Business partner

Transaction Data

You use EDT to transfer transaction data. This applies to the following:

·         Commission Case

·         Commission Document

Data Transfer Between The Commission System and Other SAP Components

Data Transfer to The Commission System (Input)

Data is transferred using a report. Some reports can be scheduled as batch jobs.
