The budgetary ledger is designed to comply with legal requirements in the United States, which stipulate that postings be made to G/L accounts representing the provision and consumption of budget.
There are no specific budgetary ledger transactions for creating documents. Instead, the ledger is called automatically from standard transactions that impact budget. You can view the effects in the various transactions:
