Wet Poortwachter (0764)
In this infotype, you store all Poortwachter-related data, depict the reintegration process and document activities on a case-to-case basis. Based on these activities, you can generate an overview by means of report Poortwachter-monitor (RPLWPMN0).
The Wet verbetering Poortwachter (gatekeeper) aims at:
· Limiting absenteeism and the subsequent inflow of employees into Wet Arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering (WAO).
· Speeding up the reintegration of incapacited employees within the second year of illness.
Usually, the case manager, that is, the employee dealing with reintegration, maintains this infotype but this could also be done by an HR administrator or a time manager.
You must have defined:
· Activities (An activity is an employer action aimed at reintegrating employees.).
· An action plan to reintegrate an incapacitated employee within the first year.
· The Poortwachter subdivision under which the incapacitated employee fall.
· The subtypes of infotype Absences (2001) to be used for the Wet verbetering Poortwachter.
For more information, see the activities under the section Wet Poortwachter of the Implementation Guide for the Dutch Payroll.
The infotype is split as follows
·
Information
related to the latest illness
This information is read from infotype Absences
(2001).
·
Safety net
information (vangnet)
Within the framework of the Wet verbetering Poortwachter, safety
netters (vangnetters) are usually dealt with by either the social
insurance institutions (UWV) or the employer. If you have set the relevant
indicator, the UWV takes over the employee, who is eventually not displayed in
the Poortwachter monitor.
·
Activities
Here you can build up a plan using activities and depict the whole
reintegration process of an employee within your organization.
On creating a record, a default activity plan is displayed, which you can change to meet your specific needs.
·
Generate
activities
When you create a record on the basis of the Poortwachter subdivision, the
related activities are generated accordingly.
·
Add activities
You can add free activities, activities of type Change Case Manager (002) or Postponement (003 and 004).
·
Delete
activities
You can only delete free and postponement activities. Free activities can
only be deleted if they have not been confirmed by means of one of the
following fields:
¡ Outmost limit (no date specified)
¡ Confirmation indicator
¡ Free text (no text saved); note that an activity with saved text cannot be deleted
·
Postponement
activities
You can delete postponement activities, provided that they do not contain free
text.
·
Change
activities
You can only change the date for free activities.
·
Regenerate
activity plan
Use this function in case of illness-related changes that may have an impact
on the plan. The user will then
be notified in both the infotype and the PW monitor.
By executing report Poortwachter-monitor (RPLWPMN0) you can check whether or not you have to create a PW infotype record for an employee. The built-in consistency report enables you to generate a list of all employees who fall under the Wet verbetering Poortwachter and to determine what type of action has to taken (create, delete or regenerate).
By double-clicking an employee you can jump to the infotype; the system generates a record that you can change and save.
When an employee reintegrates into his/her position after a first illness period and enters a second illness period within the illness relation period, you must regenerate the plan to make sure that it reflects the current situation.
