Editing Waste Codes

No warning is displayed when you change a waste code that has already been used.
You have created the waste catalogs to which you want to assign the waste codes.

By specifying
an
identifier of the
identification type WASTECOCAT (waste catalog), you assign the waste code to
the corresponding waste catalog. The text (for example, EWC) that you enter for the waste catalog under Identifier must correspond to a phrase code of a phrase
belonging to the phrase set that you specified for the environment parameter
WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG under Specify Environment
Parameters in Customizing for Basic Data and
Tools.
Always enter the identifier of the identification type WASTECOCAT (waste catalog) first before you enter the identifier of the identification type WASTECODE (waste code). Only then can the system automatically check (check function C124_WASTECODE) whether the waste code for the waste catalog has already been created.
6. Enter other identifiers and additional data on the other tab pages if required.
7. In the detail area of the waste workbench, choose the value assignment type if required by double-clicking the one for which you want to enter data, and enter this data.

The value assignment type Waste Code Properties is supplied with the standard system. You can specify the hazardousness that applies to wastes of the waste code in this value assignment type. This is transferred automatically, for example, when you assign the waste code to a waste approval.
8. Save your entries.

5. Enter data as required on the tab pages.
You can change the following data on the Identifiers tab page (see section “Creating Waste Codes”):

¡ Waste code
¡ Description of the waste code

When changing the identifiers, ensure that you first change the identifier of the identification type WASTECOCAT (waste catalog) before you change the identifier of the identification type WASTECODE (waste code) (see section “Creating Waste Codes”).
6. If you want to change the values assigned to the waste code, choose the value assignment type you wish to change by double-clicking it in the detail area of the waste workbench, and enter the necessary data.

The value assignment type Waste Code Properties is supplied with the standard system. You can specify the hazardousness that applies to wastes of the waste code in this value assignment type. This is transferred automatically, for example, when you assign the waste code to a waste approval.
