Object documentation Maximum and Minimum Limits of the Integrated Daily Wage Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

Once the system has determined the integrated daily wage, it applies certain maximum and minimum limits to it.

The maximum limit is determined by the value of constant STSDI.

The minimum limit is determined by the value of constant SMSDI.

If the sum of the fixed integrated daily wage and the variable integrated daily wage is less than the maximum limit, the amount of this sum is saved in the Basic contribution salary field of the infotype Integrated Daily Wage (0372).

If the sum of the fixed integrated daily wage and the variable integrated daily wage is greater than the maximum limit, the maximum limit amount is saved in the Basic contribution salary field of the infotype Integrated Daily Wage (0372).

The system checks whether, once the limit is applied, the integrated daily wage is greater or less than the amount set in the Implementation Guide (under Mexico Payroll ® Social Insurance ® Social Insurance contributions ® Maintain company and employee contributions). The relevant contribution will be calculated on the basis of this.

Example

The sum of the fixed and variable integrated daily wage is 1,900. The maximum limit is 1,100; the minimum limit, 800. The amount 1,100 will be stored in the Basic contribution salary field of the infotype Integrated Daily Wage (0372). The limit used to calculate the Crèches contribution is 1,100. The limit used to calculate the Redundancy and Old Age contribution is 800.
