Rules for Selecting Transactions Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

You can select transactions using 2 alternative criteria:

  1. Selection of transactions by specifying a view and portfolio hierarchy, or by specifying characteristic values
  1. Selection of transactions by specifying a position number or a simulation run number (actual transactions have blank position and simulation run numbers)

The following always applies: Entering selection criteria acts as a restriction, which means that if you do not make any entries the system selects all transactions. If you enter selection criteria the system will therefore select the generated intersection.

Example

If you want to...

... then you need to enter the following selections:

select all transactions

no entry (default setting)

select only actual transactions

fill either the Position number field or the Simulation run field with #

select only simulated and fictitious transactions

define the transaction selection by filling either the Position number field or the Simulation run field
