List Displays and Parallel
Processing
Possible List Displays
·
Application
log
All of the messages that occurred are displayed, however, without reference to
the relevant contracts. This option requires only limited main memory because
it does not produce a results list.
·
Results
list
The results list shows the results for each contract.
This option is recommended for test purposes before production startup as long
as the system does not contain mass data.
Advantage: When error messages occur, you can see the direct reference to the
individual contract.
The results list option is generally not recommended for production systems
because the list can be extremely long.
·
Aggregated
list
The aggregated list is summarized and shows only totals values, for example,
for each accrual type. For this reason, the scope of processing is
narrower.
This option is recommended after production startup if you want to display the
amounts that are transferred to Financial Accounting when this function is
executed.
Parallel processing
Parallel processing uses several dialog work processes on one or more application servers, irrespective of whether processing is executed from a dialog program or a background job.
The server group determines which application servers can be used for parallel processing and to what extent.
Parallel processing cannot be used if a server group is not entered.
