Objective

Specify the method you want to use to calculate profit share.

Process

You indicate the calculation method using the METH parameter in the Profit Share Advance Calculation function (VEPS2). The standard SAP R/3 system provides the following methods:

If METH = PAID the advance payment is calculated by means of the income earned by the employee up to the current date.

If METH = ESTM , the advance payment is calculated according to an estimated amount of what the employee will earn for the year.

The system is configured to perform the calculation based on employee income up to the current date. If the company wants to use another method you should copy the VEPS schema and change the value of parameter 1 in function VEPS2.
