Process Flow

The (part) appraisers perform the appraisal online. They do this by calling the appraisal document in the browser and valuating the various aspects of performance in the relevant fields.

In the role of part appraiser, the appraisee submits an assessment of his or her own performance while the manager in the role of part appraiser presents his or her assessment of the employee.

In the SAP standard system, only the appraisee’s or manager’s own assessment can be seen during the part appraisal phase. The employee can only see the manager’s assessment after the manager has completed the appraisal using the pushbutton Complete/End Part Appraisal.

As soon as the part appraisal has been completed, the data in the objective setting document can no longer be changed.

After both participants have performed their part appraisal, they can discuss their individual assessments together and write their results in the final appraisal.
