Candidacy
Assignment between a Requisition and a Candidate.

The term Assignment is used on the user interface instead of the term Candidacy.
The system creates a candidacy to create a link between a candidate and a requisition.
The system creates a candidacy for the following processes:
· You include a candidate in the Favorites list of a requisition.
· A candidate submits an application. A candidacy (original candidacy) is created at the same time as the application.
· You enter the paper application of a candidate using the Application Entry function.
· Based on an application, you identify other requisitions for which the candidate can be considered. The system depicts this by creating a candidacy.
Most of the activities in the Recruitment activity category that are performed for a candidate are stored in the respective candidacy. However, the acknowledgement or rejection of an application is stored in the application, for example.
Status
The status of a candidacy can have the following specifications:
· In Process (A final decision has not yet been made.)
· Withdrawn (The candidate withdrew the application.)
· Rejected (The candidate is unsuitable for the relevant requisition, but may be suitable for other requisitions.)
· To Be Hired (The candidate is suitable for the requisition and is to be hired.)
