GP Status
The functions of the GP framework are implemented as follows:
· In a service of the J2EE Engine
· In a number of J2EE Engine libraries
· In various applications based on Web Dynpro and the J2EE Engine
You can check the status of all these modules.
To monitor the status of the GP system, choose the tab Basic Information.
· The view header area displays an overview of the system status.
· You can also monitor the following overviews:
¡ Status and properties of the central GP service caf/eu/gp/model.
You can see whether the GP service is active in the Java cluster and can view the service parameters currently set.
¡ Status of the GP libraries.
¡ Status of the GP applications.
You can check the status of each GP application for each server process running in the Java cluster. The status can be one of the following:
§ Started – the application runs properly.
§ Stopped – the application was not started or was terminated. This could be an error.
§ Missing – the application is not deployed in the running server process.
§ Other Status – no status available. This is probably an error.
