Use

The tax transfer program only transfers tax if it is clear that the invoice has been paid. That means that every vendor item has to be cleared by a separate payment item. You cannot clear multiple vendor items with a single payment item.

Features

Due to this, it is inevitable to adhere to basic rules upon posting payments as follows:

·        When you make a payment without clearing it immediately against the invoice, you must clear it later on.

·        When you make a payment and clear it immediately against the invoice, it is necessary to perform allocation to the invoices, using the “balance” or “partial” method. When using the partial method, it is necessary to carry out the following settlements, so that only a single invoice and one or several payments were in the settlement document (when using the partial method, settlement is performed only after all payments were posted and the balance of the deal is zero) – while separate payments have the box BSEG-REBZG filled in.

Note that the tax transfer program does not support payments on account.

·        You can make incomplete payments (posting the discrepancy as a residual amount) and you can make part payments. However, you cannot combine the two methods.

·        In case of posting compensations, inclusion of various payments into the compensation document is not permitted (with compensation, the matter is always in clearing of liabilities and receivables, possible payments posted as early as before the compensation should be allocated to the appropriate invoices). The subsequent settlement should be performed, so that a single invoice (or its remainder) was in the settlement document and one or, when using the partial method, several settlements having the box BSEG-REBZG filled in.

·        Other deals (such as tax credit memos, down payments, and receivable assignments) should be posted precisely according to the following description.
