Procedure documentationEntering Potential Data in the Planning Hierarchy  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Procedure

  1. If you want to enter potential data which applies universally, choose Environment ® Potential analysis on the Sales Support overview screen.

    2. If you want to enter potential data with reference to a particular sales activity, go into the sales activity and choose Environment ® Potential data ® Create version on the overview screen.

  2. Enter the planning type you want to use for your planning hierarchy. In the standard system, you can use planning type SDCAS_PA.
  3. Assign values to the planning objects for which you want to plan potential.

    4. In the standard system, you assign values to the following fields:

    – Sales organization

    – Sold-to party

    – Competitor

    – Group in product hierarchy

    – Subgroup in product hierarchy

    – Material

  4. Enter the planning figures for the planning objects.
  5. Save the planning hierarchy.
