Deleting Entry Documents
This procedure describes how you delete an entry document, in other words how you set the deletion indicator for an entry document. The entry document is not physically deleted from the database.
The data in a deleted entry document can no longer be changed. A deleted entry document does not appear in the search result either when you search for entry documents unless you explicitly state as a search criterion that deleted entry documents should also be displayed (see Searching for Entry Documents).
· You have searched for the entry document that you want to delete and are on the Disposal Processing Change screen. To find out how to access this screen, see Editing Entry Documents.
· The entry document has the system status Created and there are no follow-on documents for the entry document.

You can lock entry documents for which no follow-on documents exist (see Locking Entry Documents). The data in a locked entry document can no longer be changed. A locked entry document does not appear in the search result either when you search for entry documents unless you explicitly state as a search criterion that locked entry documents should also be displayed.
