Tour-Related Activities
SAP Mobile Direct Store Delivery supports sales representatives with a number of activities they need to carry out while on their tours.
The download provides a default order in which the visits are to be carried out. However, the sales representative can resequence the order of his visits.

The new sequencing information is not uploaded to the backend.
Sales representatives can create new, unplanned visits. The supported scenarios are as follows:
· Existing customer in visit list – It is possible to create additional visits for the same customer within a tour.
· Existing customer not in visit list – A visit can be created for a customer who is not in the visit list but whose customer master record has been downloaded to the mobile device.
· One-time customer – A visit is created using the one-time customer number. The sales representative can enter this customer’s name and address information.
The sales representative can enter the odometer reading at each customer visit. This information is uploaded to the route accounting database for statistical purposes only.
The downloaded tour indicates planned driver, co-driver, vehicle, and tour times. At-start-of day, sales representatives can change the driver and vehicle information. They can also enter the odometer reading.
Sales representatives can record cash expenses incurred on their tour. You can configure the application to support various expense types (tools, gas, parking, etc.). Sales representatives can then enter the individual amounts per expense type. Sales representative expenses are used in the end-of-day discrepancy calculation.
