Income Tax Infotype: Deductions (0390) 

Definition

In this infotype (0390) you enter the data referring to deductions to be made in the income tax calculation. This data is used both in the payroll run and in various legal reports.

If you do not enter data in this infotype, you will not to be able to perform the Income Tax calculation.

Structure

Under this infotype you record the following data:

●     Legal person: The data referring to name, address, document, etc. of the legal person must figure in the Employee Annual Declaration.

●     Deduction amount: This data refers to the concept of the deduction, specifically to:

○     Wage type corresponding to deduction. The default values are defined in the Implementation Guide. For further details, see the Implementation Guide section Personnel management ® Personnel administration ® Payroll data ® Employee payment information ® Wage types ® Create wage type catalog.

○     Amount to be declared.

These two pieces of data are mandatory.

●     Deduction frequency: The fields First month of deduction and First date (of deduction) are mutually exclusive; that is, you must only make an entry in one of them and not simultaneously in both.

Data regarding Deduction frequency and Frequency unit are only to be entered if any of the previous data has been entered.
