Verifying Grantee Derivations 

Definition

The derivation tool feature in Grants Management for Grantee (GM-GTE) includes a Business Add-In (BAdI) that you can use to program verification of derivations arrived at using the GM-GTE derivation tool.

Use

To use the BAdI, go to the GM-GTE Implementation Guide (IMG) and choose Master Data Assignments ® Business Add-Ins for Assignments. Enter an implementation name and, in the resulting screen, choose the methods (CHECK_DRULE_BEFORE_SAVE and/or CHECK_DRULE_ENTRY) for which you need to program verification checks.

The method GET_STRATEGY enables you to assign a strategy environment to the GM derivation tool, using any field from the structure GMDERIVE to identify the proper strategy. This overrides the default strategy environment assignment maintained in the transaction Maintain Grants Management Assignment Derivation Rules.
