Definition

The explosion profile (see also the Implementation Guide for Product Data Distribution ® Configuration Management ® Define Explosion Profiles) lets you exclude specific object types from the explosion during the explosion.

Note

This may lead to inconsistencies because of the many relationships between objects. For example, if you exclude object type class, and want to explode a BOM with a class item, this leads to an error. Product data distribution cannot be executed because the object list is incomplete.
