The 403 VAT Media File complies with the specifications of the value-added tax (VAT) law in Taiwan pertaining to GUI Media Filing – 403. The tax authorities require all businesses that sell mixed categories of goods (including taxable, special tax, and zero tax items) to submit the 403 return, either as a hard copy or as a media file.

The 401 VAT Media File complies with the specifications of the Taiwanese value-added tax (VAT) law pertaining to GUI Media Filing – 401. The tax authorities require all businesses that sell 5% and/or 0% goods and/or services to submit the 401 return, either as a hard copy or as a media file.
