Use

You can use variants to define the selection options for evaluations you use frequently. You require variants for reports you want to schedule for periodic background processing.

Prerequisites

Before creating a variant, you must maintain the selection options in the Information System initial screen. For more information, see Creating Variants for Reports.

Procedure

·        To save the settings you have entered in the initial screen as a variant, choose Goto ® Variants ® Save as variant.

·        To access existing variants, choose Edit ® Get variant.

·        To delete variants, choose Goto ® Variants ® Delete.

Note

In the project structure overview (transaction code CN41N), choose Goto ® Variants ® Get Variants/Display/Delete/Save.

Result

When you call up a variant, the system automatically enters the selection variant selection options in the information system initial screen.
