Waste Code 

Definition

Number or code that is assigned to a waste in a legally defined waste catalog or a waste catalog within a company.

Structure

Each waste code is created as a specification in specification management in Basic Data and Tools. In the specification, you can create the following data on the waste code, for example:

·        Waste code

·        Description of the waste code

·        Waste catalog to which the waste code belongs

·        Various properties of the waste code, for example the hazardousness, that generally apply to wastes of this waste code

Integration

You can assign the waste codes to the wastes, waste approvals, and disposal documents in various ways (see Waste Code Assignment) and thus map standard values from laws and regulations.
