Procedure documentation Assigning Additional Waste Management Business Partners Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This procedure describes how you assign additional waste management business partners for disposal processing to entry documents alongside the waste generator that was entered when you created the entry document. You have the following options:

·        You can assign several waste management business partners (waste disposers, waste transporters, and authorities) to one entry document in one step.

·        You can assign one waste disposer and one waste transporter to several entry documents in one step.

Note

You cannot generally assign additional waste generators to an entry document. However, you can if required carry out multiple account assignment in order, for example, to distribute the disposal costs between several waste generators (see Entering Account Assignment Objects).

Prerequisites

·        You have executed the procedure Editing Entry Documents and are on the Disposal Processing Create or Disposal Processing Change screen.

·        You have created the waste management business partners that you want to assign in the Waste Management master data. If you want to use the corresponding input helps specified in the Procedure section, you must also have created the waste disposals and disposal channels.

Procedure

Assigning One or More Waste Management Business Partners to an Entry Document

...

       1.      Select the entry document to which you want to assign additional waste management business partners and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Detail View.

       2.      In the detail view on the Partner assgnmt tab page, enter the required waste management business partners with their roles or select them using one of the following input helps:

¡        Search for Partners

You can use this input help to select a waste management business partner from all the waste management business partners in the master data that correspond to the selection criteria you specified.

¡        Search for Disposers from Waste Disposals

You can use this input help to select waste disposers from the waste disposals in the master data that contain the waste specified in the entry document.

¡        (Hierarchical) Search for Disposers from Disposal Channels

You can use this input help to select waste disposers from the disposal channels in the master data that contain the waste and waste generator specified in the entry document. If no waste disposer is found, the system also takes into account the disposal channels for the higher-level waste generator in the master data, which is directly above the waste generator specified in the entry document in the hierarchy. If no waste disposer is found in this way either, the system takes into account the disposal channels for the next waste generator in the hierarchy in the master data, and so on until a waste disposer is found.

¡        Determination of a Partner That Is a Vendor

You can use this input help to select a waste management business partner from all the waste management business partners that have been assigned a vendor as an integration object in the master data (see Assigning Integration Objects).

       3.      Save your entries.
