Creating a Depository Bank 

Use

You can create the depository banks where you want to maintain the securities accounts.

Bank master data is contained in the bank directory. It includes bank address data and control data such as the SWIFT code (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Transactions) and the bank group.

The standard system provides a default integration with the bank directory of SAP Financial Accounting. You can choose to create own implementation using the relevant Business Add-In (BadI) to maintain bank master data.

 

Procedure

...

       1.      In the SAP Easy Access screen, select Accounting ® Bank Applications ® Collateral Management ® Securities ® Create Depository Bank.

       2.      Specify the code of the country where the bank is located.

       3.      Specify the bank key under which bank data from the respective country is stored.

       4.      Save your entries.
