Creating a Scheduling Activity 
Using the yard scheduling chart, you can manually create scheduling activities for vehicles.

1. In the graph display area for a specific location, point the cursor at a starting time and left-click.
2. Drag across to an end time.
The Create Scheduling Activity dialog box appears, with the following being displayed:
¡ Activity Status of Planned
¡ The location class and location
¡ The start and end times (modifiable)
¡ Reference document type (based on location)
3. If you know the reference document to which the vehicle is assigned, do the following:
a. If desired, choose a different reference document type from the Ref. Doc. Type field.
b. In the Ref. Document field, choose the reference document to which the vehicle is assigned.
The relevant vehicle details, such as license plate number and container ID, are automatically displayed.
4. If you know the details of the vehicle, do one of the following:
a. From the License Plate field, choose the license number.
b. From the Container ID field, choose the container ID.
c. From the Forwarding Agent field, choose the forwarding agent.
The other vehicle details, as well as the relevant reference document, are automatically displayed.
5.
Choose
to verify the data.
6. Choose Enter.
7. Save.
A scheduling activity is created at the chosen location. An object representing the scheduling activity appears in the graph display area for the chosen location.
The object colors and texts correspond to your customizing settings, which also determines whether a link between related scheduling activities is displayed.
