Planning of Personnel Costs (Infotype 0666) 

Definition

Infotype containing direct cost items for employees.

Use

The Planning of Personnel Costs infotype (0666) allows you to manage different data bases for employees. Each data basis is defined by an individual subtype.

When collecting data for employees, specify which subtype of the infotype you want to use for data storage. The system generates direct cost items from the collected data and stores them for each employee in infotype records of this subtype. It generates at least one infotype record for each cost item. All infotype records of the same subtype result in the data basis for employees.

To change the infotype records created by the system or to create new infotype records, use the Editing Collected Data function.

When you create a personnel cost plan, specify the data basis for employees you want to use for this personnel cost plan. If you execute a cost planning run for this personnel cost plan, the system uses the infotype records with the relevant subtype to create plan data from the cost items stored in these infotype records.

Structure

You use an individual subtype of the Planning of Personnel Costs infotype (0666) for each data basis with which you want to plan.

You want to separate the salary costs for your employees from their training costs in the plan. Therefore, you create the following data bases in Customizing for Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation:

·         0001 (Salary costs)

·         0002 (Training costs)

You first execute data collection for employees using the following data collection methods:

·         Basic Pay Infotype (0008)

·         Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014)

·         Additional Payments Infotype (0015)

You store the data collected in the data basis 0001.

You then execute data collection for employees using the data collection method Data from Training and Event Management. You store the data collected in the data basis 0002.

You use these data bases in different personnel cost plans.

Integration

When you create a subtype for the Planning of Personnel Costs infotype (0666) in Customizing, the same subtype is also available for the Planning of Personnel Costs infotype (5010).
