Calling the BEx Broadcaster 
You can call the BEx Broadcaster from various areas of the Business Explorer in order to distribute BW objects.
From a technical viewpoint, the BEx Broadcaster and/or the broadcasting wizard is the Broadcaster Web item that is embedded in an otherwise empty Web application. This Web application (0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE) is entered as a Standard Web Template for Broadcasting in Customizing under SAP Reference IMG ® SAP NetWeaver ® SAP Business Information Warehouse ® Reporting-relevant Settings ® BEx Web ® Determining Standard Web Templates Here you can also establish another Web template, for example with your company logo, as the Standard Web Template for Broadcasting.
Depending on the call of the BEx Broadcaster, the Web item is displayed either as a BEx broadcaster or as a broadcasting wizard.
You can call the BEx Broadcaster from the following areas of the Business Explorer:
In the
Query Designer
Toolbar, choose Publish® BEx Broadcaster. You get to the BEx
Broadcaster. There you will see a list of the available broadcast settings for
the query that you have edited in the Query Designer.
In the
Web Application
Designer Toolbar, choose Publish® BEx Broadcaster. You get to the BEx
Broadcaster. There you will see a list of the available broadcast settings for
the Web application that you have edited in the Web Application
Designer.
On the
BEx Toolbar of the BEx
Analyzer, choose Tools ® BEx Broadcaster. You get to the BEx
Broadcaster. There you will see a list of the available broadcast settings for
the query that you have edited in the BEx Analyzer.
The Web application
contains at least one Web item to which you can apply the
Context Menu. In
the context menu, choose Distribute. You get to the broadcasting wizard
for the distribution of this Web application.
In
Ad-hoc Analysis
and in the
BEx
Web Analyzer you have the following distribution options:
In the context menu of the table, choose Distribute. You get to the broadcasting wizard for the distribution of a query that forms the basis of the ad-hoc analysis or the BEx Web Analyzer.
Choose the Information Broadcasting tab page. You get to the BEx Broadcaster. Here, you see a list of available broadcast settings for the query that forms the basis of the ad-hoc analysis or the BEx Web Analyzer.
Beyond that, you
have the option of inserting the BEx Broadcaster into any Web application. In
the Web Application Designer, drag the
Broadcaster into a Web application. For more information
