Function documentation RE Navigator Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

A uniform function for processing all the activities related to Real Estate Management.

Note on Accessibility

Use

       1.      Central point of entry for processing the following objects:

·        Real estate contracts

·         Master data of the usage view

·         Master data of the architectural view

·         Master data of service charge settlement

Detail hierarchy display of object structures

·         Contract data with assigned usage objects, processes, overviews

·         Detailed object data, overviews, subordinate objects

·         Complete structure of settlement units (master settlement units, settlement units, cost object settlement units, participation groups, rental objects)

       2.      Access to the following functions:

       3.      Resubmission (for detailed information on resubmission for real estate objects, see Resubmission).

       4.      Find Object (search function for individual real estate objects)

       5.      Appointment calendar

       6.      Information System (from here you can execute all RE-FX reports)

Prerequisites

You specified all the objects and functions that you want to be able to access in the RE Navigator in System Default Settings. You define these settings by choosing the menu path Utilities ®Settings.

Here you access various hierarchies, individual objects, your own personalized worklist (see below), as well as your personalized menu for My Objects (see below). Use the dropdown boxes provided.

Example

If you enter a company code as your selection criterion and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Display, all real estate contracts and business entities of that company code are listed in the hierarchy display. If you expand a contract or object, all the detailed data and subordinate objects (buildings, rental objects, settlement units, and so on) with their detailed data are displayed for selection and processing.

If you want to call up a particular contract, choose the selection criterion Real Estate Contract, enter the company code and contract number, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Display.

You can create, display, or edit the following real estate objects from the object overview:

·        Structure linkCompany code (displays in the navigation area all real estate objects assigned to the company code)

·        Real estate contract (also refer to Processing Real Estate Contracts)

·        Business entity (also refer to Processing Business Entities)

·        Property (also refer to Processing Property)

·        Building (also refer to Processing Buildings)

·        Rental object (such as pooled space, rental space, rental unit, comparative apartment)

·        Architectural object (also refer to Creating an Architectural Object)

·        Participation group (also refer to Editing Participation Groups)

·        Settlement unit (also refer to Editing Settlement Units)

·        Comparative group of apartments (also refer to Creating Comparative Group of Apartments)

·        Set

Worklist

Processes for editing are listed for each user in the worklist.

The system automatically adds all real estate objects for which activities are pending (for example, contracts to be activated) to the user’s worklist.

My Objects

All real estate objects of a particular user are listed in the navigation area. By double-clicking on the object in the list, you can navigate to the processing screen.

Other Functions

By choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Favorites in the browser menu, you can add objects to your list of favorites and edit them.
