Procedure

Use the Visual Administrator to enable the session tracing function on J2EE Engine. To do this, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Open the Runtime tab of the Performance Tracing service running on the server process.

       2.      Open the Trace Config tab and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Settings).

       3.      In the Session Trace Settings screen that appears, choose Enable session trace to enable the function.

       4.      Configure the maximum number of activities to be traced by entering a value in the Tracked Activities field.

       5.      Configure the name of the URL parameter that is used in the request URL to activate the session tracing mechanism, by entering a value in the URL Parameter field. The default name of the parameter is SAP-SAT.

       6.      To save your settings, choose Save.
