Use

The InfoCube contains knowledge on trade promotions that is obtained from historical data using data mining models. This InfoCube is filled with prediction results from the data mining model Trade Promotions: Scoring: Uplift Factor (0CP_UPLI_FCT). It contains the uplift factors of trade promotions, which are calculated on the basis of historical data for the category, tactic, and price reduction parameters.

The InfoCube is assigned to the SEM planning area Promotion Knowledge Base (4TPM2000), which is integrated into the planning application Sales and Promotion Planning for the Consumer Products Industry. The planning application uses the knowledge about the influence of the category, tactic, and price reduction parameters on the uplift factor of a trade promotion to determine a prediction value for the uplift quantity. You can use the predicted values in your planning in the CRM Marketing Planner.
