Use

The login modules are used to authenticate the users on the server. You can mark a login module as a suitable or non-suitable authentication mechanism.

Procedure

       1.      Open Security Service Runtime ® User Management tab.

       2.      Choose Manage Security Stores.

Adding a new login module:

...

       1.      Choose Add Login Module.

       2.      Specify the location of the class of the login module in Class Name.

       3.      Specify the display name for the login module in Display Name.

       4.      Enter a description of the login module in Description.

       5.      Specify the options of the login module in Options. The options are pairs of a name of the option and value of the option, that is key=value pairs.

       6.      Specify suitable authentication mechanisms from the Authentication Mechanisms list.

Mark an authentication mechanism as suitable for the login module

Choose the upper Add button to apply the mechanism to the login module.

Remove an authentication mechanism, which is marked as suitable

Choose it from the Suitable Authentication List and then choose the upper Remove button.

Mark an authentication mechanism as non-suitable for the login module

Specify the non-suitable mechanisms for the login module. Choose the lower placed Add button. The authentication mechanism is displayed in the Non-Suitable Authentication Mechanisms list.

Remove an authentication mechanism from the list of non-suitable mechanisms

Choose it from the Non-Suitable Authentication Mechanisms list and choose the Remove button at the bottom.

To view or change the settings of a login module

...

Select the login module from Login Modules and choose Properties.
