Use

Employee preferences can also be considered when planning shifts. An employee preference is simply a shift preferred by the employee.

Procedure

  1. Start a Shift Plan.
  2. Choose Goto ® Employee preferences.
  3. The Change Target Plan: Employee Preferences screen appears.
  4. Note

    If you have chosen to display the shift plan in the classic design , the shift abbreviations are highlighted in different colors.

    To create an employee preference

  5. Enter the preferred shift of the relevant employee for the day concerned.
  6. To return to the target plan:

  7. Choose Goto ® Overview.
  8. Note

    If you have chosen to display the shift plan in the classic design, employee preferences are highlighted in different colors.

    If you have chosen to display the shift plan in the color design, the employee preferences are displayed in accordance with the settings made in General Color and Character Formatting. The other shift abbreviations appear in the original default color on the screen.

  9. Choose Save.

Result

You have taken a working time preference of an employee into consideration during shift planning.
