Editing Master Settlement Units

There are two ways of editing master settlement units (master SUs):

Accounting ® Real estate management ® Master data ® SCS infrastructure ® Master settlement unit ® Create or Change.

Accounting ® Real estate management ® Service charge settlement ® SCS infrastructure ® Master settlement unit ® Create or Change.

Edit the object.

Activity	Choose	Information
Determine settlement period and settlement variants	® Settlement variant	Settlement variant For each settlement period, you can specify several apportionment units, or for each apportionment unit you can specify vacancy percentage rates or heating value days ( heating value percentage rates)
Optional: Specify a business area / profit center For option rate determination, choose the Option rate tab	® General data tab	Editing Master Data: Business Areas Editing Master Data: Profit Center
Determine how to predistribute costs to particular settlement units	® Participating SUs tab	It is not possible to assign master SUs to other master SUs. The participation data is only changeable if there has been no settlement in this settlement period with time-dependence. You can only assign participating settlement units at the start of a settlement period. For more information, refer to F1 help (data element documentation). Determine option rates for input tax processing	® Option rate tab	Editing Settlement Unit: Option Rates
Release master SU for account assignment	® Cost collector	Editing Settlement Unit: Cost Collector

Display costs posted on the master SU	Extras ® Postings overview	You receive a basic list for further processing
Display documents (line items) for master SU	Extra ® Detailed statements	You can display the following information: Document overview, line item Real Estate object master data, G/L account, customer, vendor Real Estate account assignment Place the cursor on the required line and choose the function you require
