Ad-hoc Distribution of the Sales Report into
Collaboration Rooms 
You have a marketing job and are working together with your colleagues on a new advertising campaign. Because you work in different locations, you use collaboration rooms in the Enterprise Portal to discuss your common tasks. For the next meeting, you distribute the sales report for the current month into the Collaboration Room in order to use the data to identify the products and regions that the advertising campaign should address.
You received an e-mail from you manager with the online link to the sales report.
There is a
Collaboration Room in the Enterprise Portal for your department that you can
access. For more information about creating Collaboration Rooms, see
Room
Creation.
System
administration has given you authorization to enter rooms in which you have
been assigned the appropriate portal role. For more information, see
Room
Roles.

1. In the context menu for the Web application, choose Distribute ® with Enterprise Portal. The broadcasting wizard opens.
2. As output format, choose Standalone HTML File.
3. Choose Next.
4. Choose Export Document into Any Folder.

Under Directory
Name, use
Selection to select your desired
Collaboration Room.
6. Choose Transfer.
7. Choose Next.
8. Specify a display name and a description, as well as importance of the document.
9. Choose Execute.
In the collaboration room and together with your colleagues, you are able to use the current sales data to identify products and regions for the planned advertising campaign. The sales report is available as a precalculated document.
If you want to navigate to the data to analyze details, in the document, choose Online Link under More. The system opens a new browser window and displays the current data for the Web application.
