Data Transfer 

Use

Automatic data transfer is possible from an external system or source system to an R/3 system (see also External Data Transfer).

You can find more information and the relevant programs in the IMG. (See Cross-Application Components ® SAP Business Partner ® External Data Transfer).

With the help of BAPIs you can also use the data transfer workbench.

This function is not relevant if you are using a CRM system.
