Procedure documentation Configuring SSL When the IIS is the Intermediary Server Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

To use Microsoft’s IIS as an intermediary server with the SAP J2EE Engine, we provide the IisProxy ISAPI module. This module contains an ISAPI filter and extension. that consists of the dynamic link library IisProxy.dll and the corresponding configuration file IisProxy.xml. This module uses the SAP Cryptographic Library for SSL.

Use the procedures that follow to install and configure the use of this module on the IIS and to configure the module to support SSL. Using this configuration, the IIS terminates the first SSL connection and establishes a new one to the SAP J2EE Engine.

Prerequisites

·        The IIS is configured to support SSL.

·        You have obtained the SAP Cryptographic Library.

·        The SAP J2EE Engine is configured to support SSL.

Procedure

...

       1.      If you have been using the SAPJ2EE ISAPI module, back up your existing configuration.

       2.      Install the IisProxy module on the IIS.

       3.      Test the IisProxy module.

       4.      Install the SAP Cryptographic Library and configure the IisProxy module to support SSL.

       5.      If you are using client certificates for authentication, then Structure linkconfigure their use on the SAP J2EE Engine.
