SAP Unification Server Administration

SAP Unification Server enables an enterprise to integrate the resources of its information systems and provide unified access to its structured data. It is the engine driving the unification of databases, legacy systems and enterprise applications in SAP Enterprise Portal.
Unification Server offers an administration environment in which you can create a Database Unifier project. This Web-based interface to data in a database enables users to analyze and interrelate data. The user navigates in an Internet browser, and intuitively queries data sources, without writing a word in SQL.
You can integrate your Database Unifier project into SAP Enterprise Portal. In this way, the portal extends its reach to structured data.
This guide covers SAP Unification Server, and how in its administration environment, you can generate a Database Unifier project.
Other unifiers install over the Unification Server, and extend its development tools to handle enterprise applications such as SAP Unifier for R/3, SAP Unifier for BW, and the Unifier for Oracle Applications. See the documentation of the other unifiers for more information.
