Portal Platform

Information and tools you need to develop your own portal content in Java are provided by the Portal Development Kit (PDK). It offers the following:

·        Documentation

Knowledge Management Platform

The Knowledge Management platform provides an application programming interface (API) that allows developers to integrate Knowledge Management features in applications. The API is documented in the:

·        Knowledge Management Javadoc

This gives a complete, alphabetical list of all public classes and interfaces together with technical details. It includes package documentation that gives an overview of functions, explains underlying concepts and describes interrelationships between components. The Javadoc is available in the PDK.

·        Portal Development Kit (PDK)

The PDK provides examples of Knowledge Management programs and explains these in detail.
