SAP Unifier for BW 

Purpose

SAP Unifier for BW is an application providing advanced integration of BW systems into SAP Enterprise Portal.

Integration

Unification Server is the back-end engine that drives unification of enterprise applications and databases across a single platform.

SAP BW is a data warehouse containing information extracted from various sources. Its data analysis and reporting capabilities allow enterprises to produce reports based on integrated business data.

The SAP Unifier for BW runs on top of Unification Server and enables access to SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) from SAP Enterprise Portal.

It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with Unification Server Administration Guide as a basis for working with SAP Unifier for BW.

Features

·        Used to create projects through which you see and launch BW reports, including Web Applications, Workbooks, Crystal Reports, and so on, from the unifier iPanel.

·        Allows you to drag an InfoObject from an open BW report onto a related BW report in the iPanel, in effect, slicing the query by the dragged InfoObject to produce a result set.

·        Supports correlation between projects from various data sources.
