The following scenarios describe situations in which you can no longer log on to the portal:
- During installation you specified an NT user name and password that does not have the correct permissions. As a result you cannot log on to the portal.
- The NT user's password was changed and you cannot log on to the portal to change it.
- You have made incorrect entries in the user management configuration and as a result the portal no longer works and you cannot access the user management configuration tool to change the configuration.
In all of the above cases, you can use the PasswordRestore tool to restore the portal to a normal state.
