Screen Reader Support for Visually Impaired Users 

Use

You can configure the Enterprise Portal to provide screen reader support for disabled users, such as visually impaired users. For these users, the portal converts visual information into textual information that is read by the screen reader. This makes it easier for disabled users to use the portal.

To configure the Enterprise Portal for disabled users, you set a checkbox in the Role Assignment tool.

 

Activities

  1. Log on to the portal as administrator.
  2. Start the Role Assignment tool by choosing Portal Admin ® Role Assignment.
  3. Search for the user for whom you wish to set up screen reader support and choose Edit.
  4. In the Detailed Information area, select Screen Reader Support.
  5. Choose Save.
