The keystore manager is a tool that allows you as administrator to manage the available keystores on the Portal Server. A keystore (also known as PSE) contains security information, for example, the Portal Server’s key pair and server certificate, and all the certificates of Certification Authorities (CAs) that are trusted by the Portal Server. By default there are two keystores on the Portal Server:

• Portal Server keystore (ticketKeyStore): Created automatically when the Portal Server is started up for the first time. This is the default keystore used by the Portal Server.
• Standard keystore in java environment provided by SUN (cacerts): Contains trusted Certification Authority (CA) certificates.

Keystores on the Portal Server have the restriction that they can only contain one private key.

With the keystore manager you can:

• View content of keystores on the Portal Server
• Import and export certificates to and from a keystore on the Portal Server
• Generate server certificate requests
• Import responses to certificate requests into a keystore

The keystore manager is based on the master iView Administration.keyStoreManager.
