Regulatory Reporting 

Use

Different legal regulations (such as the KWG in Germany) require credit institutions to provide regular business reports to the authorities (the Federal Institute for Financial Services Supervision (BaFin) in Germany). This reporting procedure is described as “external regulatory reporting”.

In Account Management (FS-AM) the system provides a raw data interface for extracting the data required for reporting from Account Management. You can format this according to your requirements with data from other systems for reporting.

The relevant data is provided by the RBCA_RR_PP report in SAP Easy Access, under Account Management ® Periodic Tasks ® Reporting ® Start Reporting Run.

Integration

To access the extracted data, you need to program the event (Business Transaction Event) BTE 0BCA3100 Regulatory Reporting according to your requirements. If this BTE is not programmed, the run of the raw data interface for regulatory reporting is ineffective.

The run of the raw data interface for regulatory reporting is one of the program runs that take place in end-of-day processing.

Prerequisites

·        The event BTE 0BCA3100 Regulatory Reporting must be programmed for the individual customer needs.

·        The posting date for payment transactions must be closed.

·        The balance sheet preparation must be complete.

·        The cash concentration must be completed for the relevant key date if you set the indicator for the Balance Change Due to Cash Concentration in the RBCA_RR_PP report.

·        The data output from Account Management must either be received by a system capable of regulatory reporting, or be forwarded to such a system.

Scope of Functions

The raw data interface for external regulatory reporting assumes that the accounts have the same currency.

The key date balances for each account are determined on this basis.

Activities

Start the interface report RBCA_RR_PP from the SAP Easy Access screen, under Account Management ® Periodic Tasks ® Regulatory Reporting ® Start Regulatory Reporting Run or schedule it for the correct place in the job sequence of the end-of-day processing.
