Business object from Payment Distribution and Monitoring (FS-MCM-PDM) in Master Contract Management, which summarizes the plan statement data for a plan at a certain time.
The plan statement displays information about the current plan value (FMV), the plan value at the start of the year, the required minimum disbursement, and the postings entered in the analysis period. The postings are displayed for the plan clearing account and for the distribution to the relevant participant accounts.
In Master Contract Management, the plan statement is a feature of the master contract. Enter the required settings in the master contract on the Plan Statement tab page (see Editing Plan Statements).
A year end statement may need to be created for a plan. However, you can also offer the plan holder a plan statement at other times.
You create the plan statement during the periodic tasks by running the report Create Plan Statement. This report generates the due correspondence requests for the selected plans.
Once a correspondence request has been created for a plan statement, you can see the plan statement data in a correspondence history. Choose the BAYS correspondence type. For more information about the statement history, see the section Displaying Correspondence Historiesin the SAP Library. You can also display an application log for plan statements created in the mass run from the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Master Contract Management ® Payment Distribution and Monitoring ® Logs ® Application Log for Plan Statements.
You then generate the plan statements with the Correspondence Print report and use these.
You enter bank statement agreements on the Bank Statement tab page in the master contract. You can specify control parameters and a recipient group for each agreement. These define how, when and to whom the plan statements created for this agreement are to be sent.
In the Time Periods area you can set up the calculation method for each agreement for the next date. To do this, you need to set the Periodic indicator in the Bank Statement Agreement area. When you have selected the bank statement agreement that is to be processed, the system displays the fields for the detail entries required to determine the period calculation.

If you are using the principle of dual control, you can place the master contract in the release process when changes are made to the plan statement data. For more information, see Release Object CN (Contract) in the SAP Library.
If you use the correspondence tool, you can, for example, determine the format, dispatch route, and recipients of a plan statement. For more information on correspondence in Account Management (FS-AM), see the SAP Library under Correspondence in Account Management.
