Process documentation Configuration for CRM Mobile  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

This process describes the steps for configuring CRM mobile applications. It provides a list of documentation that you can use during the configuration process. It also includes a list of supplementary documentation that you may need before proceeding.

Prerequisites

·        You have set up the system landscape correctly and installed the required hardware and software components. For more information, see the SAP CRM Mobile Client Installation Guide in SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/crm-inst.

      Read SAP Notes to find the most up-to-date versions of guides, such as:

¡        CRM Master Guide

¡        Communication Station Guide

Process Flow

      Prepare the communication station.

      Set up the connection to CRM Mobile using CRM Middleware.

      Replicate data.

       Download objects from SAP ECC to SAP CRM (if required).

       Download objects from SAP CRM to the consolidated database (CDB).

       Perform administration console settings, such creating and assigning mobile client site IDs, creating or selecting publications for various objects, and generating subscriptions.

      Maintain authorizations.

      Maintain settings for mobile applications in Mobile System Maintenance (MSY).

Note

In Mobile System Maintenance (MSY), choose Export-Import -> Import Manager and import the relevant file (for example, Consolidated_Prefill_52_SPXX.car) from the Consolidated-Prefill folder. You will find this folder in the Installation/Upgrade CD.

      Synchronize data with mobile clients.
