You use the archiving object CRM_FM_LRP to archive live rates plans and live rates planning elements.

Using Archive Administration (SARA), you schedule archiving reports to be run as background jobs. The live rates plans and live rates planning elements archiving object contains the following reports:

  • Preprocessing (RCRM_FM_LRP_PREPROCESS_ARC)

    The preprocessing report selects live rates plans and live rates planning elements that can be archived. A live rates plan and live rates planning element can be archived if they meet the following criteria:

    • The live rates plan and related live rates planning elements have the status Closed.

    • The live rates plan and related live rates planning elements exceed the residence time defined for live rates.

    Note Note

    A live rates plan is archived with the related live rates planning elements and cannot be archived separately. Similarly, a live rates planning element cannot be archived separately from the related live rates plan.

    End of the note.

    The preprocessing report changes the status of the relevant live rates plans and related live rates planning elements from Closed to Can be archived.

  • Write (RCRM_FM_LRP_WRITE_ARC)

    The write report selects the live rates plans and related live rates planning elements that have the status Can be archived. The report copies data from these live rates plans and live rates planning elements to archiving files and changes their status from Can be archived to Archived.

  • Delete (RCRM_FM_LRP_DELETE_ARC)

    The delete report reads the data stored in the archiving files and deletes the corresponding data from the database.
