Because many archiving objects fall under the concept of the CRM business transaction, their structure and the way they are used do not vary. Differences between the archiving objects only occur in the selection criteria and the business criteria to determine archivability. For more detailed information about the individual check criteria see the diagrams under Archivability Check at the end of the section Features.
You can display the relationships between the archiving objects and the corresponding database tables in the archive administration (transaction SARA). In the initial screen of Archive Administration
, choose the function Database Tables
(transaction
DB15). Here, you can find out the tables from which a given archiving object archives and deletes data. For more information see Tables and Archiving Objects.
In the CRM business transaction the system updates one or several tables for a set or an extension. For an appointment set, for example, SCAPPT, SCGENAPPT, SCPARTICIP, and SCRULES are some of the tables that are updated. Most of the tables are logically grouped together with other tables.
