You can use this business function to implement availability control (AVC) in the multi-level budget structure (MBS) offered by the Budget Control System (BCS).


To use this business function, you must have activated Enterprise Extension Public Services (EA-PS). You must have activated the current business function and have maintained the necessary settings in Customizing for Public Sector Management. Enhanced AVC Check for PBC Scenarios

During the availability check, the system can now skip lines of type 500 for documents from Human Resources (HR) and Position Budgeting and Control (PBC) when calculating the consumed budget. This removes the need to carry out a payroll run to correct budget consumption after an organizational change.

Analysis Report for AVC Inconsistencies

For various reasons, inconsistencies can occur between AVC data and FM totals records. With this new report, you can identify where those inconsistencies are occurring and analyze them.
